ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three helpers were jailed after they were allegedly caught stealing sacks of feeds in an agri-supply establishment here Sunday evening.
Carmelo Otico, 65, of Zone III, Barangay Tacas, Jaro Iloilo City reported to the Roxas City Police Station that her three helpers carted away feeds from their stored located at Kilometer 1, Barangay X here.
Otico identified the helpers as Joerny Berbaño, 27, of Barangay Traciano, Dumarao, Capiz; Joelit Palma, 19, of Barangay Aglalana, Dumarao; and Rone Besonio, 25, of Santo Angel, Dumalag, Capiz.
Another helper, Arwin John Leonico, 27, of Barangay Dala, Mina Iloilo City informed the owner about the missing feeds of Pacifica Agrivet Supply.
Leonico said the suspects loaded the feeds on a truck driven by Antonio Mahilog then hurriedly left.
The suspects were arrested in a follow up police operation that led to the recovery of the feeds worth P65,000.
The three are presently detained at the police station.
