A father and his son and their 6-year-old relative died in an electrocution incident in Panit-an, Capiz.
Police identified the victims as Roger Concepcion, 51, and his 16-year-old son, Johnrey; and Angel Adrigado. All are residents of Barangay Calaan, a village around 5 kilometers from Panit-an town proper.
Their bodies were discovered around 6 p.m. of March 7, 2020 after Roger’s daughter, Roselle, came home from Roxas City.
Roselle claimed she saw her father and brother both unconscious on the ground.
Next to them was a duplex wire splice, which was used to supply electricity to a water motor pump.

Their hands sustained burn injuries.
Slumped several meters away from the Concepcions was the body of Adrigado.
Staff Sergeant Francisco Mario Balasa, Panit-an police investigator, said Adrigado may have been electrocuted while going home after playing in a neighbor’s house.
Adrigado’s house was more or less 100 meters from where her grandfather saw her body.
“She could have passed by near the water motor and touch the duplex wire,” he said.
It is believed that the three victims died instantly but they were taken to Bailan District Hospital in Pontevedra town where they were declared dead on arrival.
