BACOLOD City – Three persons were killed in a collision at Barangay Napacao, Siaton, Negros Oriental last Monday.
Police identified the fatalities as Gregorio Encabo Jr., 54, of Barangay Poblacion, Bayawan City; his companion Nenito Rebotazo, 61, of Sta. Catalina town; and Jayson Gaitera Ajer, 22, of Siaton town.
Investigation indicated that a sports utility vehicle driven by Anthony Egera, 44, of Siaton town allegedly overtook a Ceres Liner bus and collided with the two motorcycles of the three casualties.
Both motorcycles were dragged a few meters away and the riders fell on the ground, which caused them injuries.
All the three victims were declared dead at a hospital.
Egera voluntarily surrendered to the police.
