Three persons from Molo, Iloilo City were caught for collecting bets for a Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) game evening of Aug. 5, 2020.
Officers of the Molo Police Station arrested Fritzie Garbo, 43; Christine Nuñez, 38; and Reggie Alapae, 29, all residents of Barangay San Pedro, Molo.
The three were allegedly soliciting bets for “Pick 2” and yielded five cotejos, P821 cash bet; and three identification cards of PCSO Peryahan.
They failed to present pertinent papers for the Pick 2 operation.
The Molo Police Station verified with the office of PCSO general manager Royina Garma the operation of Pick 2.
Garma’s office later confirmed that there was no directive or memorandum for the resumption of any PCSO operations in the area.
