ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Three brothers facing frustrated murder charges were arrested Saturday morning.
The joint team of Dao and Sigma Municipal Police Station nabbed Ricky Baliscot, 42, and brother Edwin, 28, both residents of Duyoc, Dao, at Poblacion Ilawod village.
The same team of the police also arrested another brother, Ronnie, 33, at his house in Duyoc.
The warrant for their arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 21 Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua of Mambusao, Capiz on January 30, 2020.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail for each brother for their temporary liberty.
The suspects were detained at the Dao Municipal Police Station for failure to post bail.
Meanwhile, a 48-year-old husband was also arrested Friday afternoon for violations of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act).
Dennis Lumbania of Poblacion Tabuc, Mambusao, Capiz did not resist when the police served his arrest warrant.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail for his temporary liberty. He is presently detained at Mambusao police station.
