BACOLOD CITY – Two men and a woman were arrested with PHP136,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation at a pension house in Barangay 3, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Monday night.
Police targeted alias “Twinkle,” 33, of Barangay 9, who was with two companions from Kabankalan City and Himamaylan City at the time of the operation.
Lt. Col. Roberto Indiape Jr., chief of the Kabankalan City Police Station, said the suspects had been under surveillance after being named by previously arrested drug personalities.
All three were identified as street-level individuals in the illegal drug trade.
Twinkle and a 24-year-old woman allegedly conspired in selling the contraband, according to a police report.
Authorities seized 20 grams of suspected shabu, two improvised glass tooters, two improvised plastic straws, PHP500 in marked money, and PHP75 in cash.
Indiape said the suspects allegedly repacked drugs and met customers at various locations.
