The first-ever signee of the groundbreaking Asian Player Quota in the Japan B. League is set to make his debut tonight.
It will be strange at first seeing Thirdy Ravena don different colors after being used to see the young star wearing the white and blue for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
This time, Ravena will be suiting up in a red and black jersey for the San-En NeoPhoenix.
After missing the first 10 games with the NeoPhoenix due to COVID-19 delays, Ravena already worked out and attended the first couple of practices and is now ready to go.
However, Ravena’s first game in the B.League will be no easy task as they will face the tough Shimane Susanoo Magic team on the road.
The first NeoPhoenix home game for Ravena will be on November 11 against Osaka Evessa and this will be the first time the home fans will see the teen sensation play.
Currently holding a disappointing 1-9 win-loss record in the league, the NeoPhoenix management was desperate enough to call for Ravena’s services amid the pandemic to help improve the squad.
For the Filipino fans who want to support Ravena in his international campaign, the B.League will be live streaming their games on their Youtube channel.
