Cult curiosity turns deadly in They Will Kill You, a blood-soaked horror-action-comedy set to open exclusively in cinemas on March 25, 2026.
Produced by Andy Muschietti, the film invites audiences to discover why “everyone is dying to stay at The Virgil,” a sinister location at the center of its high-octane story.
The movie stars Zazie Beetz, known for Joker and Invincible, alongside Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette.
Directed by Kirill Sokolov, the film blends horror, action and dark comedy as it leans into cult mythology and graphic spectacle.
According to the official synopsis, “a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.”
“They Will Kill You” is written by Sokolov and Alex Litvak, with production handled by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan.
Executive producers on the project include Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Carl Hampe, Litvak and Sokolov.
Behind the camera, Sokolov is supported by cinematographer Isaac Bauman, production designer Jeremy Reed, editor Luke Doolan, costume designer Neil McClean and visual effects supervisor Marc Smith.
The film’s music is composed by Carlos Rafael Rivera, with Andrea von Foerster serving as music supervisor and Richard Delia as casting director.
The project is presented by New Line Cinema and Nocturna, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
“They Will Kill You” opens only in theaters in North America on March 27, 2026, and internationally beginning March 25, 2026, with the official trailer now available online. (Photos: Warner Bros. Pictures)
