Theft suspect arrested in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 37-year-old was arrested after allegedly forcing his way into the house of a businessman Saturday evening, Jan 7, 2023, at Sitio Lumboy, Barangay Tiza here.
Bernaldo Delos Angeles of Sitio Tambis, Brgy. Tiza was collared after Claudio Cervales Jr., 64 of Villa San Lorenzo Ruiz, Brgy. Cagay, reported the incident to the police station.
Delos Angeles allegedly entered Cervales’ house by climbing up the concrete fence and destroying the back door.

The suspect allegedly carted away a mechanical tool set worth P5,000, an electrical tool set worth P8,000, a power supply with an estimated value of P6,000, a gold bracelet worth P22,000, P13,000 cash, and GI Pipe Grills worth P4,000.
Delos Angeles was arrested during a hot pursuit operation by Roxas City PNP together with the victim and the witness.
Some of the stolen items were recovered from the suspect.
Delos Angeles is presently detained at the police station while appropriate charges are being prepared against him.
