The Bloomfields have released the official music video for their latest single “Pink Skies,” bringing psychedelic visuals and handcrafted artistry to life in a dreamlike animated collage.
Directed and edited by bassist Louie Poco, the video features kaleidoscopic layers of band performances, surreal landscapes, and pop-art elements that echo the band’s vintage-inspired sound.
“It was my first time experimenting with green screen and animated collage,” Poco said.
“No AI involved, just countless hours of hands-on editing and flexing creative muscles,” he added.
Inspired by the cut-out aesthetic of Filipino collage artists Andrea Cervantes and Charlie Salazar, Poco infused the video with a sense of authenticity and handmade imperfection.
“Its imperfections are exactly what make it beautiful and trippy,” he explained.
“It’s not about polished perfection, but about joy, creativity, and the spirit of something crafted with love,” he said.
Sonically, “Pink Skies” blends Britpop textures with indie rock sensibilities, delivering a track that feels like a radiant summer escape.
The song evokes shimmering warmth and hopeful longing, capturing a fantasy of light breaking through emotional storms.
“Pink Skies” was released earlier this month on all major digital music platforms via Lilystars Records.
The video continues The Bloomfields’ tradition of pairing retro-influenced music with creative visual storytelling that reflects the band’s evolving artistry and DIY ethos.
