BACOLOD City – Task Force Kasanag founder and national commander John Chiong said Friday that they will help the Philippine Army in its peace and development efforts in the province.
Chiong met with 303rd Infantry Brigade head Col. Inocencio Pasaporte at the unit’s headquarters in Minoyan, Murcia town.
TFK is a civil society group that advocates for peace and development and combats terrorism, graft and corruption, and illegal drugs.
Chiong said TFK has members in the province who are actively engaged in community service.
He added that TFK shares the vision of the government in realizing peace especially in the countryside.
“When there is peace, development thrives,” Chiong said.
Pasaporte said he welcomes the help of different sectors in attaining peace in the province.
