BACOLOD City – Task Force Kasanag national commander John Chiong confirmed that the top commander of the group in Negros was expelled from the organization as part of their cleansing efforts.
TFK is an anti-corruption, anti-crime, and anti-illegal drugs group operating nationwide.
Chiong said that Edsel Vaflor, also the Visayas commander of TFK, was replaced by Jun Villaluna.
Chiong said he personally investigated and validated the complaints against Vaflor.
He said he will no longer elaborate on the “questionable” deeds of Vaflor, adding that there is enough evidence to warrant the latter’s expulsion from the organization.
Chiong said that during the general assembly on Saturday at the TFK headquarters in Purok Himaya, Barangay Alijis here, he again warned members against using the group for personal gains.
He also recalled some TFK identification cards which were deemed forged.
Chiong further reminded members that TFK exists on the spirit of volunteerism as being a civil society organization that advocates against corruption, illegal drugs and criminalities.
He also said that the TFK complaint desk at their headquarters is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
