Terence Crawford put on a spectacular show and showed the boxing world he still had the mitt magic despite a long lay-off after knocking out challenger Kell Brook in the fourth round of their welterweight bout.
The World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion showed no signs of rust after picking apart Brook in the first round.
The WBO champion showed off his usual excellent movement in the ring, moving his head side-to-side, stalking Brook while throwing heavy jabs.
However, the challenger had early success after finding his range against Crawford and was able to connect several times with a straight right after a turn to his left-shoulder movement to counter the champion’s combinations.
Things went interesting in the third after both fighters started to test each other’s chins but Crawford grabbed the advantage after connecting on numerous combinations including his favorite straight-jab combo.
Brook’s stint in the ring with Crawford unfortunately came to an end in the fourth after receiving a vicious right jab that left the challenger stumbling in the ring and was finished off by a barrage of punches afterward.
