Teen nabbed with P136K worth of shabu

A teenage boy was arrested after he was allegedly caught peddling illegal drugs in Pavia, Iloilo.
Alias Nonoy, 16, a Grade 10 student from Barangay Tigum, Pavia, was collared in a buy-bust operation at 9:55 p.m. on Dec. 2 at Purok 4.
Members of Pavia Municipal Police Station collared the suspect after selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P2,200.
Police operatives further yielded 12 sachets of suspected shabu.
Major Dadje Delima, Pavia police chief, said the seized drugs are worth P136,000.
Delima said that Nonoy was arrested following three weeks of surveillance operation.
Another drug peddler who was earlier arrested revealed Nonoy’s operation.
The suspect was drawn into the illegal drug trade after he started using shabu at 14 years old.
To sustain his addiction, he was allegedly forced into selling illegal drugs.
The suspect also claimed that he sourced his supply from a local distributor.
The suspect was turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for proper disposition of his case.
