BACOLOD CITY — Newly crowned Teen MassKara 2025 ambassadors emphasized the importance of hard work and positivity as key virtues they wish to embody in inspiring change within themselves and the broader community.
Grade 12 student Robert Rognel Guinanao was crowned Mister Teen MassKara 2025, while Grade 9 student Jamie Elise Gutheil took home the title of Miss Teen MassKara 2025 during the coronation night held at SM City Bacolod Skyhall on Oct. 10.
Guinanao, who wore the number 13—a number often associated with bad luck—proved it to be his lucky charm as he emerged victorious.
When asked, “As a catalyst for change, what virtue do you want to embody to bring about change in yourself and your community, and why?” he answered: “As a student-athlete, I possess the values of hard work, discipline, dedication, and time management. These virtues have shaped me into the person I am today, standing in front of you.”
He said that he wanted to share these values with the community to inspire others and help them understand how essential they are to achieving personal growth and success in life.
For Gutheil, positivity was the virtue she chose to champion.
“I would choose positivity—even though it may seem like a simple word, it can make all the difference,” Gutheil said.
“We can spread positivity in many small ways, such as smiling at a stranger or helping a friend who’s feeling down. In a world filled with criticism, noise, and hate, we can begin to spread positivity through our actions and the way we treat others—step by step. Because every small step contributes to a greater purpose,” she added.
Their heartfelt answers and inspiring messages reflect the spirit of MassKara — one of resilience, joy, and hope for a brighter future.
Joining the royal court are Mr. and Ms. Teen MassKara 2025 Tourism, Jechonias Manzano II and Stacy Dominique Latigo, and Mr. and Ms. Teen MassKara 2025 Charity, John Cediel Estaniel and Princess Yvy Corral Were.
