Teen in Iloilo City most wanted list arrested

A 19-year-old man listed among Iloilo City’s most wanted persons was arrested in a police manhunt operation on the afternoon of June 24 in City Proper, Iloilo City.
The suspect, identified by police as alias “Brats,” a resident of Barangay Monica, City Proper, was arrested in Tanza-Esperanza village, City Proper.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 7 served warrants of arrest against the suspect for two counts of robbery under Article 293 of the Revised Penal Code.
Judge Elijo Sharon Ronzales Herrera-Bellones of the Regional Trial Court Branch 27 in Iloilo City issued the warrants on June 1, 2026.
The court recommended bail of PHP 144,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Capt. Jesus Cambay III, ICPS 7 chief, said the suspect is listed as the No. 8 most wanted person in Iloilo City.
Brats is detained at the ICPS 7 custodial facility pending further legal proceedings.
Col. Wilbert Parilla, Iloilo City police chief, said the arrest forms part of the police’s continuing commitment to ensure that offenders are held accountable for their actions.
He also assured the public that police would continue to pursue fugitives to help keep communities safe and secure.
Under Article 293 of the Revised Penal Code, robbery is committed by a person who, with intent to gain, takes personal property belonging to another through violence or intimidation against persons or by using force upon things.
