According to the Sipalay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), they received a call for assistance from the family of the pregnant woman last Saturday.
The teenage mother, along with her partner and another companion, tried to walk from their house, which is in the middle of the rice field, to the highway.
But before she could reach the highway, her labor pain intensified, signalling that she was about to give birth.
Fortunately, the rescue team, along with a midwife arrived and assisted the teenager in her safe delivery.
