Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the suspect, identified only as Ramel, who police tagged as a high-value individual.
Authorities confiscated 200 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP 1.36 million from the suspect.
Shabu is the local term for methamphetamine hydrochloride, a prohibited drug under Philippine law.
Police Lt. Richard Legada, assistant CDEU head, said the suspect was arrested for a drug offense for the first time and had been under monitoring for about three weeks.
The Bacolod City Police Office reiterated its commitment to intensify anti-illegal drug operations and sustain law enforcement efforts against illegal drugs.
