ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A technician listed by police as a street-level individual was arrested Wednesday evening, July 1, in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Baybay here.
Police identified the suspect as Nyren Delfin, 44, a resident of Barangay XI, Roxas City.
He was arrested around 10:38 p.m.
Police said Delfin was arrested after a poseur-buyer bought a sachet of suspected shabu from him for PHP 1,000.
Operatives also recovered three more sachets of suspected shabu from Delfin.
The seized drugs weighed 4 grams and had an estimated standard drug price of PHP 27,200.
Delfin is in the custody of the Roxas City Police Station.
Police said charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him.
