Team Uswag will hold a “Unity Walk & Proclamation Rally” in Iloilo City on March 26, 2022.
“Handa na bala ang mga Ilonggo nga kilalanon ang aton mga lideres nga magasulong sa mas maUSWAGon nga ciudad?” Mayor Jerry Treñas, the head of the political group, said in a Facebook post on Sunday.
Team Uswag also includes re-electionists Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon and lone district Rep. Julienne Baronda. The slate is running under the banner of the National Unity Party and their newly-established regional party, Uswag Ilonggo Party.
The event set at 4 p.m. at the Com. Efrain B. Treñas Boulevard will also include Senator Franklin Drilon and Vice Presidential daughter Aika Robredo.
The campaign period for the 2022 local elections will officially begin on March 25.
