Teacher’s house partially burned
ROXAS CITY, Capiz A fire partially damaged the house of a teacher Monday morning at Locsin Village in Barangay Pantalan, President Roxas, Capiz.
The fire is believed to have erupted in the ground floor of the house of Marybeth Villanueva, a public school teacher.
According to Villanuevas sister, the house was empty because the owner joined the Brigada Eskwela activities on Monday.
Arson investigators of the President Roxas Bureau of Fire Protection estimated the cost of damage at P400,000. The fire gobbled a laptop, an audio component system, among others.
The cause of fire has yet to be determined.
