Lorelie delos Reyes, 33, a resident of Barangay Jamog Gines, Leon, succumbed to multiple injuries and was declared dead on arrival at Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian.
Delos Reyes, a teacher at Isian Norte Elementary School, was reportedly on her way to the nearby village of Isian Norte to buy medicine when the accident occurred.
As she navigated a blind curve along Isian Norte, a Honda Civic sedan struck her motorcycle from behind.
She was thrown from her motorcycle and dragged about 10 meters from the crash site.
The driver of the Honda Civic, identified as Philip Maderaje, 30, a resident of Barangay Lublub, Dumangas, Iloilo, was allegedly speeding and failed to notice the motorcycle in time.

Captain Martin Pugales, Leon police chief, said Maderaje was immediately arrested following the crash.
A case for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property has been filed against him.
