Tapaz teen arrested in frustrated murder case

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — An 18-year-old man wanted for frustrated murder in Iloilo province was arrested Friday afternoon, March 6, in Barangay Poblacion, Tapaz, Capiz.

Alias “Berdog,” a resident of Barangay Siya, Tapaz, Capiz, and temporarily staying in Barangay Daan, also in Tapaz, did not resist when officers from the Tapaz Municipal Police Station served the warrant of arrest while he was at a friend’s house.

The warrant was issued by the presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 70 in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, on March 4, 2026.

The court recommended bail of PHP 200,000 for his temporary liberty.

He is under the custody of the Tapaz police for proper disposition and court referral.
