Tapaz businessman missing, motorcycle found abandoned

TAPAZ, Capiz — A businessman from Barangay Carida, Tapaz town, was reported missing on the morning of Dec. 24, while his motorcycle was later discovered abandoned near a riverside park.
Police identified the missing man as “Djobic,” 41.
His wife, “Juvelyn,” said he left their business stall in Barangay Poblacion riding his Honda motorcycle but did not return home.
He was last seen near Switch Elementary School wearing brown shorts, a jacket and a black-and-white helmet.
On Dec. 25, around 2:30 p.m., his motorcycle was found parked along Jalaur Promenade Park near Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Calinog, Iloilo.
His key and personal belongings were left inside the vehicle.
According to his family, the victim had been suffering from depression prior to his disappearance.
The Tapaz police are coordinating with Calinog police to investigate the case, and the family is urging the public to report any information that could help locate him.
