Alias Jose, 57, a village watchman from Barangay Igcores, was apprehended in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Lawigan, San Joaquin.
Officers from the San Joaquin Municipal Police Station arrested the suspect after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for PHP 1,200.
Police also recovered two additional sachets of suspected shabu from his possession.
Captain Isagani Tabares, San Joaquin police chief, said the confiscated drugs weighed approximately 60 grams and had an estimated street value of PHP 408,000.
Authorities conducted a two-week surveillance operation after a tipster reported the suspect’s alleged drug-related activities.
