A BARANGAY tanod (village watchman) was stabbed to death early morning of May 18, 2019 in Jaro, Iloilo City.
Jenny Francisco, 48, was rendering duty at Barangay Our Lady of Fatima when he was attacked around 1 a.m. Saturday.
The victim suffered three injuries two in his chest and one in the back.
Police said Francisco was sitting on the roadside when the stabbing happened.
It was believed that the assailant also took his wallet and tablet before fleeing.
Police investigators cannot conclude if robbery was the motive for the killing.
