BACOLOD City – The city of Talisay and the town of Murcia had the most number of coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 cases in the province of Negros Occidental.
Records from the Provincial Health Office showed that for cities, Talisay City is number one with 473 cases followed by Silay with 373, Bago-247, Sagay-162, Cadiz-132, Himamaylan-127, La Carlota-120, Kabankalan-109, Victorias-88, Escalante-73, Sipalay-57, and San Carlos-44.
For the municipalities, Murcia leads the list with 130, followed by Enrique B. Magalona-84, Binalbagan-81, Pulupandan-64, Hinigaran-61, Valladolid-60, Calatrava-54, San Enrique-49, Manapla-48, Pontevedra-46.
La Castellana has 43, Cauayan-40, Hinoba-an-37, Moises Padilla-29, Isabela-20, Toboso-20,Ilog-16, Candoni-7, and Don Salvador Benedicto-6.
The province has a total of 2,713 cases with 1,532 total active cases, 1,127 recoveries, and 54 deaths.
