TABUENA COUPLE IS ASIA’S GOLDEN ICON AWARDEES 2023

Premier Ilonggo pulmonologist Dr. Rollin Tabuena was all smiles as his wife Dr. Ma. Daisy P. Tabuena was hailed as Asia’s Exceptional Doctor in Neurology in Asia’s Golden Icon Awards 2023.
The couple’s family-owned medical company The Asclepius Corp. also received Asia’s Prolific Allied Medical Services award at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu.
Dr. Ronnel Ybañez, celebrity entrepreneur and chairman of the awarding body, said the winners were adjudged by a panel of independent senior experts.
“Asia’s Golden Icon Awards 2023 recognize the most outstanding people, from the ordinary to the extraordinary, in building community and solidarity.
“We are a team; my wife and I and our staff. It’s a collaborative effort to achieve the highest standard of medical care for our clients and patients. With this recognition, we will strive harder to be better at what we do,” Dr, Rollin Tabuena said in his acceptance speech.
Dr. Rollin said that being a doctor is not only a title he carries, but it is a calling to heal and save lives.
“Being an icon is only a symbol, what’s more important is what lies beneath all the accolades,” he added.
Since 2017, Asia’s Golden Icon Awards has recognized deserving individuals and companies for their contributions to their respective communities.
Apart from the Tabuena couple, the other awardees were DILG Sec. Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos, Senators Robin Padilla, Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, and Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian; Michael Alexander Ang, Tony Meloto, Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn “Gwen” Garcia, Quirino Gov. Dakila “Dax” Cua, Cebu City Mayor Michael Lopez Rama and Michel Llhuilier.
