ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Authorities recovered 15 bundles of suspected dried marijuana leaves abandoned at the Panitan terminal in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Panitan, Capiz, on Monday morning, January 20, 2025.
The Panitan Police, led by Police Major Amy Bulaquina, said their investigation indicated that the suspected contraband was transported via a RoRo bus with plate number 8825 from Alabang, Metro Manila.
The bundles were unclaimed, with no name or address attached, according to Rustico Diestro, owner of the RoRo terminal.
The Panitan Police, in coordination with the PNP Maritime Command, is conducting a thorough investigation to identify the individuals responsible for the parcel.
