ROXAS CITY, Capiz— The local government unit of Mambusao, Capiz has lifted on May 25, 2021 the Surgical Lockdown imposed on Brgy. Poblacion Proper and Brgy. Mabinad that took effect on May 18.
But the implementation of curfew will continue from 9pm to 4am amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The local government urged residents to always observe strictly the health protocols such as wearing of face masks and face shields and safe distancing.
Senior citizens and minors were not allowed to go outside of their houses except for essential purposes.
Meanwhile, Capiz has logged 409 active cases of COVID-19 after 58 new cases were reported on May 25 based on data released by the Provincial Health Office.
The new cases include 16 in Roxas City, 9 in Mambusao, 8 in Panitan, 6 in Cuartero, 5 each in President Roxas and Jamindan, and one each in Panay, Sigma, Dumalag and Dao.
Capiz has 2,472 confirmed cases 1,947 recoveries and 116 deaths.
