BACOLOD City – The most wanted person in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat was arrested in a residential village at Barangay Bata here last Monday.
Police identified the suspect as Jesuhua Pico, 26, of the said village.
Based on a report from the Police Regional Office-6, Pico was also listed as a high value individual of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-12.
He has an arrest warrant for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by Judge Lorenzo Balo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Sultan Kudarat on October 2, 2020.
Pico was apprehended by joint operatives of the Regional Intelligence Division – 6, Police Station 3, and Isulan Municipal Police Station Tracker Team, after his presence was confirmed in the area on April 24, 2021.
He is detained at Police Station 3 here before he will be turned over to the concerned court.
