Student stabbed dead over jealousy

Jose (not his real name) was declared dead at Sen. Gerry Roxas Memorial District Hospital in Dao town. He was stabbed by a 17-year-old male student.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 16-year-old male student was stabbed to death by a fellow student Monday evening in Brgy. Agtambi Dao, Capiz because of jealousy.
Jose (not his real name) was declared dead at Sen. Gerry Roxas Memorial District Hospital in Dao town.
He was stabbed by a 17-year-old male student.
Police investigation indicated that the victim approached the 17-year-old male suspect who was riding a motorcycle and confronted him about the girl they both courted.
A heated argument ensued between them until the suspect drew a knife and stabbed the victim.
The suspect is presently at the custody of Dao police and is set to be turned over by the Women and Children Protections Desk of Dao Municipal Police Station to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
