A high school student accused of sexual molestation was arrested evening of Oct 10, 2022 in Ivisan, Capiz.
Police collared Rodgenel Marfil Narciso,19, at his home in Barangay Ondoy, Ivisan.
Members of Ivisan Municipal Police Station and the Capiz Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit implemented arrest warrants for two counts of statutory rape under Article 266-A para (D) of the Revised Penal Code and attempted rape docketed under Criminal Case Nos. C-371-22, C-372-22, and C-373-22, respectively.
Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14, Roxas City, Capiz issued the warrants of arrest on Oct. 5, 2022.
No bail was recommended for the two counts of statutory rape while a P200,000 bail was recommended for the attempted rape case.
Narciso is one of Ivisan town’s alleged most wanted person.
Captain Gregg Anthony Salbang, Ivisan police chief, said all three cases were filed by a lone complainant.
The suspect and the complainant were reportedly not affiliated by affinity or consanguinity.
Salbang did not elaborate on the details of the case.
Narciso is now in police custody and will be turned over to the court concerned.
