ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 17-year-old student died in a motorcycle race accident Saturday night at the Circumferential Road in Brgy. Dayao here.
The victim was identified as a certain ‘Bonbon’ of Purok 2 also in said barangay.
According to the victim’s friend Patrick Joseph, Bonbon invited him to go out past 6 pm but he refused as he was bound for Ivisan town.
Patrick Joseph said he was shocked upon learning of the accident and immediately went to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital where Bonbon was taken for treatment.
The victim suffered fatal head injuries.
Bystanders said the victim joined a motorcycle race with his friends when the accident occurred.
