TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE
BACOLOD City – A Grade 10 student is believed to have claimed his life inside a school in the northern part of Negros Occidental last Wednesday.
The name of the 15-year-old male victim was withheld.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Indiape Jr., chief of a city police station, said the victim went out of their classroom and was later discovered by some students hanging on a tree at the back portion of their school.
He was taken to a hospital but was declared dead.
Indiape said the family refused to provide more details about the incident or the child’s medical condition.
The students, particularly those who witnessed the incident, were subjected to debriefing.
