ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A street-level individual was arrested Tuesday afternoon, May 26, in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by police in Poblacion Norte, Ivisan, Capiz.
Joint forces from the Capiz Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Station Drug Enforcement Teams of Ivisan, Sigma, and Mambusao municipal police stations arrested Aron Buhayan, 32, a gaffer and resident of Barangay Poblacion Sur in the town.
Recovered from the suspect were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams with an estimated street value of PHP 68,000, and PHP 500 in marked money.
The suspect is under the custody of the Ivisan Police Station for proper disposition, while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him.
