THE Social Security System (SSS) on Wednesday said that families/beneficiaries of SSS members who perished during the August 3 Iloilo-Guimaras Strait Mishap may now file for funeral and death benefits.
While SSS Iloilo branch is still in close coordination with the Local Government Unit of Guimaras to secure the official list of deceased passengers and conduct database matching in our list of members, SSS branches are now ready to assist the grieving families/beneficiaries via special courtesy lanes.
For further inquiries and clarifications, concerned families/beneficiaries may proceed to the nearest SSS Office or contact SSS Iloilo central branch at telephone numbers (033) 509-9828 / (033)338-1307 and SSS Iloilo-Molo branch at (033) 330-2963/ (033)330-2961.
