Sony Pictures Animation has released the trailer for “GOAT,” its upcoming action-comedy set in an all-animal universe.
The film follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets the rare chance to play roarball with professional athletes.
Roarball is depicted as a high-speed, coed, full-contact sport dominated by powerful animal players.
Will’s new teammates are unsure about adding a small goat to their lineup.
He is determined to prove that “smalls can ball.”
The trailer highlights the film’s energy, humor, and fast-paced action.
“GOAT” is produced by NBA superstar Stephen Curry, who also voices one of the characters.
The film features an ensemble voice cast led by Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Stephen Curry, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, and David Harbour.
Additional cast members include Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, Patton Oswalt, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Eduardo Franco, Sherry Cola, Jelly Roll, and Jennifer Hudson.
“GOAT” is directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette.
The producers are Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Stephen Curry, Erick Peyton, Adam Rosenberg, and Rodney Rothman.
Executive producers include Rick Mischel and Fonda Snyder.
“GOAT” comes from the same studio and creative talent behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and KPop Demon Hunters.
Sony Pictures Animation describes the film as an inspiring story wrapped in comedy, showcasing themes of perseverance, inclusivity, and self-belief.
“GOAT” opens in Philippine cinemas in February 2026.
