A renewed spirit of leadership and academic solidarity marked the July 30, 2025, elections of officers for the Society of Fisheries Educators, Inc., held at the Main Campus–Tiwi Site and Dingle Campus of the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST).
At the Tiwi Site, faculty members elected their officers who will serve from 2025 to 2027.
The newly elected officers are:
President: Dr. Edmer D. Bernardo
Vice President: Dr. Jescel B. Bito-onon
Secretary: Dr. Herman M. Lagon
Treasurer: Dr. Emelyn Grace P. Estilo
Auditor: Dr. Michael B. Dizon
Business Manager: Dr. Ricardo J. Paborada Jr.
Public Relations Officer: Dr. Sanny F. Fernandez
The newly constituted Board of Directors includes:
Dr. Dennis K. Gomez
Dr. Christine B. Diocos
Dr. Armando S. Katalbas
Dr. Quin Y. Clarito
Dr. Edgar M. Hortillosa
Dr. Cjay B. Soliven
Dr. Fritzie S. Inayan
Dr. Rushkie D. Arabejo
Meanwhile, in a parallel event at the Dingle Campus, faculty held their elections earlier in the day at the AVR of the Knowledge Management Hub.

Secretary: Instructor Teddy F. Fuentivilla
Treasurer: Dr. Kristine P. Pelaez
Auditor: Dr. Elaine H. Anzures

Public Information Officer (PIO): Instructor Leo V. Paparon
Peace and Conflict Officer (PCO): Dr. John T. Gozales
The Board of Directors for the Dingle Faculty Association includes:

Dr. Ariel A. Calanao

Dr. Jinky D. Perez

The officers from both units will participate in the upcoming university-wide assembly, where an official faculty representative to the ISUFST Board of Regents will be elected on Friday, August 2, 2025, from among representatives of the Tiwi, Dingle, Dumangas, San Enrique, and Main–Poblacion sites.
