ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 25-year-old Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman died Monday afternoon in a road collision at Barangay Poblacion Sur, Sigma, Capiz.
The police identified the victim as Jose Darel Federiso, SK chairman of Barangay San Roque Dumalag.
Investigation conducted by Sigma Municipal Police Station indicated that Federiso was on his way to Dao town from Roxas City when his car crashed into a truck driven by Shem Palma of Barangay Bitaogan, Passi City, Iloilo.
The victim succumbed to injuries on his head and body.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
