Six persons nabbed in three drug busts in Iloilo province in four hours

Six persons were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Iloilo province in a span of four hours on August 8.
The suspects were identified as Roberto Orquiza, 53, of Barangay Tiring, Cabatuan, Iloilo; Even Omboy, 27, of Barangay Salacay, Cabatuan; Ronel Latoza, 28, of Barangay Bolilao Mandurriao, Iloilo City; Jessuel Bordomeo, 34, of Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City but temporary residing at Barangay Cubay Lambunao, Iloilo; Marjo Villagonzalo, 32, of Taft North, Mandurriao; and Morito Deloso, 37, of Barangay Simon Ledesma, Jaro, Iloilo City.
Orquiza and Omboy were arrested 6:32 p.m. of Tuesday at Tiring, Cabatuan. They allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,500.
Recovered from their possession were six more sachets of suspected shabu and several non-drug items.
Meanwhile, Latoza, Bordomeo, and Villagonzalo were arrested at 8:34 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion, Bingawan town.
Members of the Bingawan Municipal Police Station and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU) nabbed the trio for allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P4,100.
Also recovered from the three were 11 sachets of suspected shabu, a caliber .38 revolver loaded with five ammunitions, and other non-drug items.
The seized drugs weighed around 25 grams and were valued at P170,000.
At 10:45 p.m., Deloso, caretaker of JLJ Gamefarm at Barangay Ungka 1, Pavia, was arrested at his workplace.
He allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,200.
Members of Pavia Municipal Police Station seized 11 more sachets of suspected shabu and various drug paraphernalia.
The seized drugs were valued at P95,200.
All six suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
A case for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) will be filed for the suspects in the Bingawan drug bust.
