BACOLOD City – The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 ordered the relief of six police officers from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here effective Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022.
Police Lieutenant Judesses Catalogo, Nocppo’s public information officer, said these personnel replaced the officers who were relieved from their posts in Antique Provincial Police Office.
Catalogo said the vacated post of Police Lieutenant Colonel Jigger Gimeno, head of the Police Community Affairs Division Unit (PCADU), was assumed by Police Major Ruel Culanag, deputy PCADU.
Five deputy police chiefs assigned to various police stations in the province were also affected by the reassignment including Police Lieutenant Lynie Delos Santos in Murcia town, Police Lieutenant Rex Lendong in La Castellana town, Police Lieutenant Alfonso Precia in Cadiz City, Police Lieutenant Jomel Salarda in Kabankalan City, and Police Lieutenant Charles Richard Casalan in Binalbagan town.
Catalogo said the provincial police office is still looking for replacement of the five deputy police chiefs.
Catalogo said their vacated posts could not affect the operations of a police station since the police chief is in capacity to lead the personnel.
