ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Six more persons under investigation (PUI) tested negative for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
PUIs are persons with signs and symptoms and had travel history to infected areas or were exposed to infected persons.
Based on the official statement from the Capiz Provincial Health Office (PHO), the six persons travelled to Metro Manila.
One of the person is a 67-year-old man with travel history to Marikina City; a 52-year-old woman with history of travel to Makati City; a 25-year-old lady who travelled to Taguig City; a 28-year-old man who went to Sampaloc, Manila; a 44-year-old woman with history of travel to Sta. Cruz, Manila; and a 62-year-old woman who went to Metro Manila.
Meanwhile, the Capiz Provincial Health Office reiterated to the public the strict observance of home quarantine.
PHO spokesperson Ayr Altavas said it is very important for individuals to undergo self or home quarantine in order to prevent infected by the virus.
At present, Capiz has 3, 632 active persons under monitoring (PUM) who are on 14-day home quarantine while 706 have terminated their quarantine.
