BACOLOD City – Six persons, including two minors, were hurt in a road accident at Barangay Zone 16, Talisay City, Negros Occidental last Monday.
Wounded were Izyl Dela Fuente, 18, Michelle Nabasa, 37, Viola Limbo, 40, Remia Valenzuela, 62, and two female minors aged 9 and 1, all residents of the said village.
Investigation disclosed that a passenger jeepney allegedly hit a tricycle that was stopped at the roadside and eventually rammed into a nearby sari-sari store.
According to the police, the 65-year-old passenger jeepney driver was reportedly observed to be under the influence of liquor based on his medical examination.
All victims were brought to a hospital after suffering minor injuries.
