BACOLOD City – Six persons, including a 2-year-old child were injured after they figured in a road accident at Hacienda Ferlu, Barangay La Granja, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental Monday.
Wounded were Jonel Espinosa, 18, three minors aged 2, 15, and 17, Marvin Barrientos, 22, and Casimino Palanog, 20.
Police investigation indicated that a tricycle driven by a 15-year-old boy was about to execute a left turn when it crashed with Espinosa’s motorcycle.
Espinosa’s motorcycle then crashed into another motorcycle parked on the roadside, where the two female minors, including the 2-year-old child, were standing.
All six were taken to a hospital in La Carlota City.
Barrientos and both drivers were transferred to a hospital here.
