BACOLOD City – Six police officers from the provinces of Aklan and Capiz, and Iloilo City were transferred to Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) effective June 15, 2020.
Police Lieutenants Gelbert Batiles, Edward Bolivar, Abdon De Mateo, and Conrado Espino Jr. from Aklan Provincial Police Office, Police Lieutenant Christine Cerbo from Capiz Provincial Police Office, and Police Lieutenant Roque Gimeno III from Iloilo City Police Office were relieved from their posts yesterday.
Also relieved from BCPO was Police Lieutenant Dan Oliver Salazar who was reassigned to Antique Provincial Police Office.
The relief order dated June 14, 2020 came from the Police Regional Office (PRO) – 6.
According to Police Colonel Henry Biñas, BCPO director, the six police personnel became officers via lateral entry.
Biñas said that they will be distributed to different police stations here to observe the daily activities of station personnel, including operations, investigation, and traffic, among others.
