The “SINDI” exhibition officially opened on Monday, April 20, at the lower ground floor, North Wing, of SM City Iloilo, marking the launch of the first Guimaras Iwag sang Kabataan Arts Festival 2026.
Featuring works by young and emerging Guimarasnon artists, the exhibit highlights creativity, experimentation and diverse artistic voices inspired by the island’s culture and environment.
Anchored on the themes of “sindi,” or “to ignite,” and “iwag,” or “light,” the showcase celebrates the role of youth as sources of inspiration and agents of change in their communities.
The exhibition also sets the tone for upcoming art initiatives leading to VIVA ExCon Guimaras 2027.
