ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) and Roxas City Police Station have settled a disturbance between two competing drum tribes during the Sinadya 2025 drum parade.
The disruption occurred on the night of Dec. 7, 2025, when a disagreement between members of the groups created noise and confusion along the parade route, disrupting the flow of the event.
Officials confirmed that no major injuries were reported from the altercation.
Representatives from both drum tribes issued public apologies after the incident, acknowledging their involvement and expressing regret over the interruption.
Event organizers and authorities reminded all performers to follow parade guidelines and maintain discipline throughout the festival.
The CPPO said it has held meetings with tribe leaders to prevent future disturbances and reinforce cooperation during the remaining festivities.
Police assured the public that security measures are in place and encouraged continued peaceful participation in Sinadya 2025.
