Another high-value drug personality was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation on the evening of July 7 in Pototan, Iloilo.
Alias Erwin, 42, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at his residence in San Jose Ward, Pototan.
Members of the Pototan Municipal Police Station nabbed the suspect after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu for PHP1,600.
Following his arrest, police recovered 16 more sachets of suspected shabu and several non-drug items.
Captain Jersey Besas, Pototan police chief, said the seized shabu weighed around 105 grams and had an estimated street value of PHP714,000.

The operation was launched after multiple reports were received about Erwin’s alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.
Pototan police conducted a month-long validation, which confirmed his links to the illegal drug trade.
Reports said he sourced his supply from Iloilo City and distributed it in Pototan and nearby towns.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Pototan police and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
