Sex abuse suspect arrested in Jamindan

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A man wanted for sexual abuse was arrested Saturday afternoon, June 20, in Barangay Poblacion, Jamindan, Capiz, after six years in hiding.
Police served the warrant of arrest around 2:52 p.m. against alias “Reynald,” 44, of Barangay Pangabuan, Jamindan.
The warrant was issued by Judge April Anne Torqueza-Pallbearle of the Regional Trial Court Branch 6 Family Court in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, on Feb. 21, 2020.
The court recommended PHP 200,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
The suspect is in the custody of the Jamindan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and referral to the court of origin.
Police said the suspect went into hiding in several areas after the Bulacan court issued the warrant against him.
His whereabouts were traced in Jamindan through intelligence reports.
